09 Here is Morris arriving at the Douglas's cairn on the top of Criffel and below is what the cairn looked like on 1st December 2012. In that picture you can also see the trig point which lies west of the cairn. Criffel is not a difficult hill to negociate in mist. The fact that you have two features here lying on an east/west line means that you have a good sense of direction not like Corserine on the Rhinns of Kells where the top is flat and featureless.
