08 Here is a view of the gentle climb after the saddle as we make for the summit of Criffel. These pictures with the figures in them were taken on 13th February 2002. Morris who has the yellow pack on his back was just one month short of his 86th birthday then!!! In the picture below Morris is arriving near the top of Criffel. Knockendoch is the hump to the right of him. The peppering of light spots you can see spreading itself across the picture in the distance is the town of Dumfries. |
