05 Here is "the
coo palace" known by that name because it was at one time meant to
be a state of the art dairy. - though it seems to have been more of a
very expensive white elephant than a successful coo palace. Notice how much whins (broom) there is around this area, with it's yellow flower and the subtle smell similar to coconut. The white blossom was also on the blackthorn and there were patches of wild primrose all over the place. The whins and blackthorn were so thick near this tower that we had to come up near the road to get round them. |
