| Although we were heading north west from Kirkandrews
to Carrick shore we went up to the cairn south of Kirkandrews first to get
the views from there. We then tried as far as possible to follow the coastline
to Carrick - which involved quite a bit of scrambling over rocks since the
tide was well in and we therefore couldn't take short cuts across bays.
So the purple dotted line nearest the shore is the route we took going and
the blue inland route was taken coming back. |
