05 As we come to the southern end of Cairngarroch we get the above view looking south to Cairnbaber (on the right edge of the picture) with Millfore beyond it. The scree and crag faces that you see on the east face of Cairnbaber are know as the Buckdas of Cairnbaber - a great name but I've no idea what a "buckdas" is. That's Craignelder and Cairnsmore of Fleet by the left edge of the picture.
Coming along the top of Cairngarroch I had kept to the eastern edge of the ridge to get the pictures of Darnaw, the Stairs of Bennan, Cairnsmore of Fleet, and the Buckdas, now I headed to the west side of the ridge and immediately I was getting the view below of Curleywee .
