These are the pictures I came here to get on 18th of March. I could see nothing of these Galloway Hills at all that day. Today it looked as though I would have another failure, but this window of opportunity opened for me for about 20 minutes or so then it all closed in again just as quickly as it had come.
I was really delighted to get this picture below with the sunlight on Nick of the Dungeon and on the rocky face of Dungeon Hill. You can see the Dungeon Lochs below the Nick of the Dungeon, Benyellary above it and Merrick standing proud right of centre.
