15 Now I am feeling that I have just won a gold watch as the Awful Hand begins to emerge from the cloud. The first finger of the five fingers of "the hand", Benyellary, is just above the Nick of the Dungeon. Heading right from there (north) comes the Merrick, the highest hill in the south of Scotland. It has a distinctive shoulder to the north of it called the Little Spear. Then you can see Kirriereoch with bulk of Mullwharchar in front of it. To the right of Mullwharchar you can see the last two "fingers" of the hand, Tarfessock and then Shalloch on Minnoch by the right edge of the picture. | |
