22 These last two pictures taken at 2.32 pm show that the tide had still some way to come in - high tide was due at 5.35 pm and the tide height for the day was 7 metres (being on the day of the first quarter of the moon). Spring tides here can get up to 9.4 metres in height. The picture shown on page 02 across the bay from these boats was taken at 10.17 am so I had wandered around the area for four and a quarter hours taking plenty of pictures and chatting to several people - a fine way to spend a day.
