04 In the picture above we have come a short distance along the road and are looking back northwards with the Anchor Hotel on our right. Both the Mariner and the Anchor serve bar meals and you can eat out of doors weather permitting at both establishments.
The second picture shows the view across Urr Water to Screel and Bengairn. Before long there will be many more boats moored along this stretch of water. It is just a little early in the year yet for that.
In the third picture we have arrived at the shop called The Ark where a road swings off to the left and goes up the hill and the shore road continuing straight onward gets even narrower - coming down to single track. This is the road we will continue on through to Rough Island. On the left edge of this picture you can see an information board attached to the wall.
In the fourth picture we have a closer look at this information board and you can see that the way to the Jubilee Path is well sign posted. There is also a larger version of the map which is shown on this board.
