05 Heading south on the shore road we have a view such as you see above with old houses pressed close to the road and their gardens on the opposite side of the road above the beach.
As we get further down the shore road there are no longer any old houses close to the road. What we have is modern houses situated up on the Jubilee Path road whose gardens run down the hill to the shore road side - as in the second picture.
Half way down this section of the road you will find all kinds of weird beasties by the roadside - see picture three and four. One of the local people makes these creatures from bits of stone, driftwood etc and there are plenty of them to see on both sides of the road. They raise many a smile from the passers-by.
