12 In the picture above we are looking down into the Enterkin Pass - with the dark shape of Steygail on the left and East Mount Lowther coming into the picture from the right.
The picture below shows the narrow saddle between Lowther Hill and East Mount Lowther. It is at this saddle that the Enterkin Pass tops out in the Lowther Hills before descending to Wanlockhead on the northern side.
