20 From the bottom of Riccart
Law Rig we can look due south down into the valley of the Potrenick Burn
which was where we were near the end of the Lowther
and Green Lowther by the Southern Upland Way walk as we made our way
back to the car at Overfingland. If you click on that link you will get
a view back up onto Riccart Cleuch Rig from down there. You might also
like to refer to the map
for that particular walk to see how all this fits together. Overfingland
lies at the point of the long dark right-to-left running wedge created
by Comb Head (on the right) and Laght Hill in the above picture and is
roughly quarter way in from the left side of the picture. The Durisdeer
hills (in sunlight) lie beyond that, strung across the picture. |
