26 In the picture above we have
now crossed this hollow area between the hills and are heading up onto the
track along the side of Laght Hill. We are looking back over the route we
have come and into the bottom end of Riccart Cleuch. You can see the track
we are about to come onto track coming out of there. The white ridge running
down to the right of the picture is Riccart Cleuch Rig and on the Dun
Law web gallery there is a view from up there down to where we are in
the above picture. Just click on the link to see this. Below is one last long look back at a good day on the hill from the track - just before we arrive back at Overfingland - with our old friends the Lowthers to say goodbye to. Obviously you could do the route anti-clockwise and this then would have been your first view of your day's work ahead. |
