23 Here we are looking NE from the ridge
over to Corserine, Carlin's Cairn and the north end of the Rhinns of Kells
with Dry Loch of the Dungeon in the foreground. In the first two pictures below we are looking south back to Dungeon Hill as we head north along the ridge. You can see there was a wee bit of a scramble down from there. Notice also the small loose boulders scattered around on the great stone slabs which are a feature of these Dungeon Hills. The third picture below shows us "playing bowls" on the Devil's Bowling Green on Craignaw some years ago - this being the best known collection of small boulders on great stone slabs. |
