24 In the picture above we are looking SW
over Loch Enoch to Merrick with Benyellary now showing to it's left and
Kirriereoch to it's right. The second picture shows the view north up to Loch Doon in Ayshire. This is an area steeped in history as is all of Galloway - to the extent that this area has been called the "Cradle of Scottish Independence" In the third picture below I have zoomed in for a better look. It wasn't a great day to get these pictures - being bright enough but overcast. |
