20 On top of Dungeon hill we get this view
of the Awful Hand
range as we look NW. From left to right the tops are Merrick, Kirriereoch
Tarfessock and Shalloch on Minnoch. Benyellary the 5th finger of the "hand"
is out of the picture and to the left of Merrick. The second picture is from the top of Dungeon Hill looking south along the east face of Craignaw to Clatteringshaws Reservoir and the Minnigaff hills beyond it. Beyond them you can see Cairnsmore of Fleet. Lamachan is at the right edge of the picture. The Silver Flowe of course is the low land on the left of the picture. The third picture was taken from Craignaw looking north to Dungeon Hill. It was taken back in 1999 on a misty day and gives a good feeling of the mystery and power of the place.
