02 Here is where we parked on the forest
road. We had come in round the north side of Clatteringshaws
Reservoir and I took the first two pictures below as we came past it.
You can see that it was an overcast kind of day with not a lot of blue sky
or sunshine. The highest hill in the top picture below is Darnaw and the hill on the left is Low Craignell. In the second picture below we are looking over to Cairnsmore of Dee with the pale elongated shape of Cairnsmore of Fleet beyond it. The third picture below shows you what the place can look like on a beautiful winter's day. |
