Heading north up Benyellary with the dry stane dyke for shelter against the wind and looking south back down the dyke towards Bennan

12 Here we are in the lee of the dyke going up onto Benyellary. You can see that the path runs on the other side of the dyke. I met people who were coming down off Benyellary who had decided the wind was too strong to cross the Nieve of the Spit between Benyellary and Merrick. The dyke offered me some shelter from this.
