02 Here we are parked at the car park beside Craigencallie Outdoor Centre, and looking west up at the crags on the face of Cairngarroch. You can get up through the crags without any scrambling just to the right of that hump near the top left of the picture, but you can also make life easier for yourself by working your way diagonally to the south across the face of the hill as you climb it.
The picture below was taken from the top of the crags. The red asterisk shows where the car was parked and the blue asterisk shows where there is a stile just behind Craigencallie House.
The third picture shows the stile and also shows how much easier it is to get up onto Cairngarroch from here if you do head south a little as you climb up onto it.
