12 As we headed up onto the
top of Henderland Hill we can see the relationship of the Megget Reservoir
(near the right edge of the above picture) to the Moffat Hills. You can
see the long dark ridge taking you over to Lochcraig Head and White Coomb
in the heart of the Moffat Hills with Loch
Skene lying below them. In the first picture below I have named these hills. If you mouseover you will get the names. The third picture show the view looking east from Henderland Hill over a mass of bog cotton to Ward Law and beyond - a hill area I am not familiar with. |
