18 Here we are on the top of Capel Fell looking at the top of Crofthead just right of centre. There is an alternative route on the SUW here - you can either come up the valley to the left of Crofthead or come along the top of it and then descend Cat Shoulder into the valley.
In the second picture the camera has been swung to the right to take in more of the shapely form of Crofthead. Queensberry can just be seen towards the right edge of the picture (quarter way in).
The third picture shows a low ridge called Broken Back that we have used a few times to come up from Selcoth Fish Farm onto Capel Fell and into these hills.
Cat Shoulder has always been a great favourite of ours and I think the fourth picture does it some justice.
