05 Just round into Poldores valley there was a very convenient fire break which would allow access to the Poldores Burn and hence to the route I had spied up onto Beninner.
In the second picture you can see the route I had in mind wasn't too big a problem - just head up the grassy hillside to the point just left of centre where there was the break in the snow line. It would be steepish but not dangerous.
