02 The picture above shows where to park (at OS ref. NX882541). To get here you leave the A710 about a kilometre west of Sandyhills. The road you turn onto is narrow and there are not any suitable parking places till you get to the point shown here. You can see that there is a way marker right beside the car and in the picture below you can see what it says on it. You would go left from here for the coastal path to Sandyhills, or, straight on up the hill that you see in front of us here to get to Port 'O Warren where you pick up the coastal path to Castle Point, Rockcliffe or even Kippford if you are feeling more energetic.
