10 This picture is again from the Douglas's cairn with St Bee's Head (south of Whitehaven in Cumbria) near the right edge of the picture. Notice how the snow had crusted over with ice and was catching the light.

Below we are looking over towards the Galloway hills. Merrick the highest hill in the south of Sctoland is near the left edge of the picture and Corserine in the Rhinns of Kells lies left of centre.
