08 As we pass Barlocco Isle and head towards Point of the Bar we come across these Victorain eccentricities. Could the rectangular stucture have been a bathing hut and the wee round feature a toilet? That's certainly what it makes you think of. At the far end of this beach there is a disused landing stage and the stretch of rocks beyond that provided some easy scrambling. But of course there is an very easy track going inland from here which cuts out that fun - in case you don't fancy it.
Below is the view over to Ardwall Isle from this beach and below that is the view looking out to Barlocco Isle and straight into the sun - again with the thin line on the horizon (on the right side of the picture) that is the Machars.
