19 Here is the view back from Green Lowther to Lowther Hill with Green Trough between them. You can see that it had clouded over a bit at this stage of the day.
The first picture below shows the route we are about to take from Green Lowther over to Peden Head which is the first bump on the broad ridge which stretches out in front of us here. The second bump is Dungrain Law and the nice white one is Dun Law.
The third picture shows Riccart Law Rig that we will head down from Peden Head. Stowgill Dod is the hill at the bottom end of Riccart Law Rig in this picture - which grows into the hill called Faugh as we move across the picture from right to left with a wee saddle between them.
