03 Once through the gate the path is lined with trees on your left and there is an open field on your right. Ahead of you, you can see the white ball on top of Lowther Hill is there to send information to and from Air Traffic Control. We crossed the field to get some views (and pictures) of the Dalveen Pass one of which you can see on the next page.
