10 The descent/re-ascent from
White Hill as we head for Dun Law is less than 10 metres. As you can see
in the picture above, you hardly notice it. From the top of Dun Law you can look due east down the valley of the Glenochar Burn to where we started our day's walk and to the Moffat Hills beyond. Harfell is the dominant hill in the middle of the picture. In the third picture I have used a bit of digital zoom to go into the second picture so that we can see the bastle house (red asterisk), the source of the River Clyde (blue asterisk) and the visitors carpark where I was parked (green asterisk). |
