08 There is a steep descent and re-ascent between Lousie Wood Law and White Law as you can see in the picture below, but as we are about to make that descent we can look SSE down the valley of the Peden Burn as in the picture above. Going into the picture on the left side we have the shoulder of Great Hill in the foreground then Doddin beyond with the Daer Reservoir in the distance. Going into the picture on the right side we first of all have a little shoulder of White Law then Kneesend beyond it and Faugh beyond that. As mentioned earlier we will come down off Faugh at the end of the day and head down the Peden Burn past the small reservoir that you can see in the valley and return to Glenochar from there along the A702. The Durisdeer Hills can be seen beyond Faugh - Rodger Law just to the left of the top of Faugh and Ballencleuch Law just to the right of it.
The third picture shows the view back from White Law to Lousie Wood Law. The descent/re-ascent in height between these two hills is almost 100 metres and 50 metres of that is quite steep.
