07 You have to go a little bit to the north east from the trig point to get this view down into Clydesdale and catch Culter Fell watching you from beyond it.
In the second picture we had finished with our sight-seeing and are getting on with the walking. As we head south west down the fence line we see the string of Lowther hills as far as Green Lowther (with the masts on top) ahead of us. There are four tops between us and Green Lowther though. First there is White Law, then Dun Law, Dungrain Law and finally Peden Head, though Peden Head really merges with Green Lowther in this shot. Riccart Law Rig is the dark ridge coming off Peden Head and heading down towards the left of the picture. This ridge is the way we will go later in the day. You can see the tops of both Comb Head and Cold Moss beyond it.
