27 That is Dry Loch of the Dungeon down there. You can see the Gala Lane exiting from it on the left and on the near edge of the Loch you can see Sandy (check out the blowup on the right). He had taken a wander up there while waiting on me. I was able to call down to him and hear his reply.
When we met up again he asked if I had seen a deer where I was. He said it had come charging down the hill towards him. I had actually surprised it (as much as it surprised me) and was within about twenty yards of it when it took off. I suppose the deer doesn't get many visitors up there normally.
