12 In the picture above we are looking up to the Dow
Spout mentioned on page 10. In the
foreground you can see what happens to the water coming down from there:
it digs deep gashes in the Flowe as it makes it's way over to the Cooran
Lane. There are several deep gashes like this running across the Flowe
for the unwary to disappear into.
In the picture below left I have zoomed into the Dow Spout for you. You

here.
The picture below right shows these strange lumps of vegetation which
at first you would take for a boulder. There are plenty of these on the
Flowe.
