09 You will read in some books of how dangerous
the Silver Flowe is in that you may penetrate the surface vegetation and
disappear into the water beneath it. In the picture above you can see that
there are tracks across the Flowe - even quod bike tracks and I know of
forest rangers who have crossed the Flowe on a quod. But you do of course
have to be sensible and keep away from the areas where the surface vegetation
is more or less non-existant. In the picture below we are looking NE across the Cooran Lane to Corserine (right of centre) and it's west running shoulder known as Meikle Craigtarson. |
