19 This is the Dow Loch. They used to come up here from Newton Stewart to play curling on the frozen surface. I am looking north along the loch here. It outlets down into the Silver Flowe. There is another Dow Loch between Snibe and Craignaw and the outlet from there (Dow Spout) also falls down into the Silver Flowe and offers good ice climbing in winter. | |||||
