18 As you can see it was worth crossing
the rig for this picture over the Glenhead Lochs and right down to Loch
Trool. On our way back to Loch Trool we will walk along the far side of the round Loch of Glenhead and over to the Long Loch before turning south-west for Glenhead farm down in the valley by the trees. None of that terraine that you see down there is user-friendly - you can never tell what lies below the tussocky grass - possible hidden holes or small boulders at every step. |
