10 Looking down from the west end of the
Rig of the Jarkness you get this view over Loch Valley up into the wonderland
that is the heart of the Galloway Hills. I have zoomed in just a bit in
the top picture and you can see the tracks heading up to Loch Neldricken
quite clearly - everyone tries to find the driest path in wet conditions. If you mouseover the picture below you will see the names of the hills etc. Dungeon Hill can be seen beyond the Wolf Slock and Mulwharchar beyond Craig Neldricken - referring back to the top picture you will see them more clearly. |
