08 Here we are now heading up the valley of the Gairland Burn. We will cross it where you can see the red asterisk and we will head up towards the blue asterisk on the Rig of the Jarkness. The pictures below show the views from the crossing of the burn - both downstream and up. That's Mulldonach and Lamachan you can see downstream. Buchan ridge is on the left and the Rig of the Jarkness on the right in the second picture.
