05 While I was getting my boots on by my car a minibus arrived with 12 folk - obviously a guided walk led by the guy in the red shirt who seemed to have a walkie talkie with him. I overheard him arrange with the driver of the minibus that he would phone him for them to be picked up as they got back to Glentrool, and you certainly can't do that with a cell phone. You have to get back to the big smoke of Newton Stewart before you can get a signal at road level on one of those and that's about half an hour's drive away. | |||||
