22 Now we are looking down to where we
will enter the forest again. I have put a red asterisk between some young
trees to the right of the picture and some older ones to the left. There
is a stile there which you can see in the pictures below. There is a gap
in there between the trees as you can see in the bottom picture. This gap
between the trees leads you up to the turning point at the end of the forest
road that you see in the top picture. You will probably have been following the rough path by the dilapidated dry stane dyke down from Meikle Lump and as you approach the fence and start to look for where to cross it, this stile will not be visible from the path because of the rising ground you see in the left of the second picture. You have to make your way to the left (west) away from the dyke (which runs eastward here as it meets the fence) to find the stile. |
