11 Knowing that there would be nothing
to see, I did not bother to go to the trig point on the top of Corserine.
Instead I started making my way towards Millfire which you see emerging
from the cloud on the right of the above picture. That's Loch Dungeon in
the murk with Meikle Lump beyond it. Meikle Lump is the shoulder of Meikle
Millyea that we will descend by from the Rhinns. In the second picture I have swung the camera more to the right (west) so that you an see more of Millfire. Notice that here is a bit of a hump before you get to Millfire. In the third picture we are on that hump and you can see that there is a tantalising hint of blue sky up there on the left of the picture. I kept hoping it would lift but it was just coming and going whimsically - just to tease me. I have optimized these pictures as best I can so that you can at least see something. |
