North Manor Hills 07 View north over by Dulyard Brae on the right and the Tweed Valley from Craig Head North Manor Hills 07

07 The pictures on this page were taken as I walked ESE along the ridge from Craig Head to Taberon Law. In the first picture we are looking north over by Dulyard Brae on the right and the Tweed Valley. The valley between Craig Head and Dulyard Brae is that of the Hopecarton Burn and you can see how wooded it is, so you would not be able to get up onto Craig Head too easily from there and you really have to come up the way I came if you want to get onto Craig Head.
The first picture below shows the view through to Pykestone Hill - looking NE through the saddle between Drumelzier on the left of the saddle and Glenstivon Dod on the right.
The bottom picture gives a view west past Worm Hill to the Culters. You can see that there is a vehicle track to follow all the way up here and the going is very pleasant and easy with a gentle bounce from the peat underfoot as you walk over it.
