07 The pictures from here onwards were all taken on 10th December 2008, except the two pictures of feral goats on page 22. In the picture above we are by the wall on the top of Lochcraig Head looking north. Culter Fell can be seen in the centre of the picture in the distance with the rest of the Culters to the right of it. Compare this picture with one taken on the 9th July 2008 from nearly the same positon when I walked in from the Megget Stane to Lochcraig Head over Dead for Cauld on a day of very mixed weather.
In the picture below I have gone north along the top of Lochcraig Head so that I could get some more shots to compare with the July pictures. Mouseover to see the names of the hills.
