23 In the picture above you can see we are now well below the snow level, having one last look at where we were in the morning.
In the second picture we are at the top of the final steep descent down to Capplegill (to the right of the picture). Where we are parked is towards the left side of the picture.
It is natural just to have one last look with friendly respect at the hills which have been your hosts for the day and savour the moment of a day well spent before the drive home.
The first picture was taken at 15.10, the second at 15.18 and the third at 15.50. Considering that the first picture as taken at 9.55 this walk took 5 minutes less than 6 hours on the day.
