04 As the squall passed I got this view across the valley to Black Craig (on the left) and Hound Shoulder (centre of the picture). Swatte Fell lies behind Hound Shoulder.
In the second picture we are looking back down the way we have come up and into Moffatdale with the squall heading that way. The hills beyond Moffatdale are the Ettrick Hills.
The first picture was taken at 10.45 and the second at 10.54.
