33 Here we are at Potburn. The SUW heads through the gate and onwards following the Ettrick Water but we turn left here for Moffatdale. Further up this track we will join a vehicle track which comes up from the far side of Potburn and which you can see in the picture below.
This is a reasonably good track till you get to the county boundary fence in the saddle between Bodesbeck Law and Fauldside Hill where you leave Borders region. Once through that gate that you see in the third picture and this old drove road begins to show its age and lack of use.
