31 Now we are well on with our
descent towards Talla and we get the above view down the Talla Reservoir
to the Culter Hills beyond - Culter Fell being vertically above the reservoir.
The east end of Gathersnow Hill is showing right on the left edge of the
picture and a tiny slither of Tinto Hill is showing behind it. In the second picture we are now seeing again the hills so prominent in the early stages of our walk, Broad Law by the left edge of the picture, Cramalt Craig beyond it and the Megget Reservoir on the extreme right. Swinging the camera a few degrees to the right in the third picture and using a bit of zoom we can see right down the Megget. Swinging it yet further to the right in the fourth picture we can see Dead for Cauld by the Megget on the extreme left and our route from earlier in the day heading up onto Nickies Knowe and Talla East Side. |
