32 As we approach the north end of Carlavin Hill we get the view above down to the head of the Talla Reservoir and into the cleuch that the road comes up from there to the Megget Stane. That's Talla Cleuch Head with the dark top in the middle of the picture leading up to Cairn Law at the right of the picture.
In the second picture we are looking straight down into the cleuch with the mass of Cairn Law like the rear of a reclining cow's back high above the road.
In the third picture I have zoomed in to show the bridge over the Talla Water that we will head for as we come off Carlavin Hill.
