10 In the picture above we are heading up the long
slow climb onto Loch Fell and we have turned to look back at the route
we have just come. That's Capel Fell back there left of centre in the
near distance.
With all these big vistas around you might fail to look at what is at your feet. The two pictures below show what you would be missing. There was a cold sharp wind which complimented the clean crisp combination of grass and snow. The gentle forms made by the wind in the snow are really quite delicate.
