14 The track goes across the seaward face of Barcloy Hill and Castlehill Point now becomes a prominent feature below us.
The picture below was taken on quite a different day when the light was better. On the far side of Auchencairn Bay you can see the white building that is Balcary Bay Hotel - to the left of the picture. The nearer point of land is Almorness Point and the sandy bay that you see is Horse Isles Bay.
