08 As we went along we tried
to find the many exotically named features shown on the map. This one was
called the Devil's Arch! In fact it was very modest in scale and could easily
have been missed. Near the Devil's Arch there is a "mine" shown on the map and we wondered whether boats had once used this little cove (below) to ship out whatever mineral it was they found here. The "mine" that we found going by the map was again an insignificant hole in the ground that you could easily miss. |
